Los Vida Barangaroo

Authentic fresh Mexican food has arrived in Barangaroo with the opening of the newest Los Vida.  There will be the range of taco’s but do not miss the Yucatan fish taco of grilled Barramundi, fresh ceviches and salads, the Ancient Grain Salad is a must. La Puerta Latino Flavours

South America comes to Neutral Bay with La Puerta Latino Flavours. Owner and chef Oscar Espinosa brings the taste of Columbia, his homeland, as well as dishes of meat and seafood with flavours from Cuba, Argentina, Peru and Brazil. Foys Kirribilli

With views over the water, the recently renovated Foys Kirribilli has opened in Australia’s oldest sailing club, Sydney Flying Squadron. Head chef Fernando Sanchez dishes up favourites and a seafood share plate of grilled prawns, calamari, BBQ octopus and pan seared fish of the day. Have a bite with wine from the extensive list or an ale and watch the world sail past.

Flying Bear Café

Flying Bear Café is down on the waterfront at Sydney Flying Squadron offering coffee and bites. Those on the water will be able to come in and tie up their craft and pick up coffee, some lunch and maybe bubbles for when they droop anchor and watch the sun go down.

Kansas City Shuffle

Kansas City Shuffle comes to the city via Ben Sweeten (Joe Black Surry Hills) and Chef Kaye Papworth (Dr Morse Melboure) with twists on American diner-style favourites. Think fried chicken on a house-made donut bun with slaw, pickles, & jalapeno aioli, for one. When settling in for lunch, enjoy a wine to while away the afternoon.

J&M

Set to open the end of this month, J&M is an intimate whisky bar on Level 3 of the Angel Hotel, what was home to the fashion House of Merivale. Initially J&M will be a Chivas Regal showcase, highlighting Chivas 18 with a sensory whisky experience. More on J&M bar here.

The Paddington

Ben Greeno (Momofuku Seiobo) comes to The Paddington which is set to open November. With rotisseries from France in the kitchen, there will be plenty of roast action with meats, whole fish and more. The Chicken Shop

Ben Greeno will also be looking after The Chicken Shop, set to open later this year next to The Paddington. Serving take-away only rotisserie chicken, salads and sandwiches reminiscent of old style English shops but using free rage birds.
