Previously we featured the top 10 things to do on board Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas which has undergone US $80m in renovations. But what about when you need a little time out to rest and sleep?
The cruise ship rooms, or Staterooms have also been given an impressive facelift. There are a number of configurations and the cabin featured here, Room 8232 is a Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony.
Stateroom Voyager of the Seas
The stateroom is surprisingly spacious and decorated in blue and white maritime tones with light timber.
King Size Bed
A comfortable king size bed occupies the space near the balcony while the sofa provides an inviting spot to relax, read or watch television.
Wardrobe and Desk
The stateroom has a hanging wardrobe with internal shelving, dressing table, flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini bar. Power points are available for 110/220 and a hair dryer is included.
Bathroom
The bathroom, though compact, is appointed with all the features including a hidden cabinet for toiletries.
Shower
The shower cubicle is tiny with little room to move, much like those found in some homes of Sicily. It features a handheld showerhead allowing you to hold the head and direct the water where you want.
The Balcony
The balcony comes equipped with a table and two chairs and invites relaxation as you gaze out to sea. Sip on a cool drink and watch the world sail past from the comfort and privacy of your own balcony.
