When you visit the Institut du Monde Arabe, don’t miss out on a free view of Paris. Take the glass lift to the 9th floor and you’ll be treated to panoramic views over the Seine.
From the open terrace, you can enjoy a sweeping view which includes Notre-Dame de Paris, Ile-de-la-Cité, Ile-St-Louis as well as the top of Centre Pompidou and the column of the Bastille. Or you can simply marvel at the rooftops that are so quintessentially Paris.

The terrace of the Institut du Monde Arabe is also home to Restaurant Le Zyriab, serving Lebanese gastronomies with a range of Lebanese wines such as Chateau Musar. With seating inside or outside, you can lunch or dine with Paris at your feet or simply enjoy a mint tea in the afternoon.

A great Paris travel tip, as usual. The photos certainly make one long for being in Paris and walking along the Seine..le sigh.
A walk along the Seine always makes me sigh… in a nice way. Such romance…
This is a sight not seen very much of Paris. I love the
view of Notre Dame from here. It’s very beautiful. thanks for the
tips!
It’s a lovely view, and rather similar to the one from La Tour d’Argent!
Wow, these shots are beautiful! What views you were able to
capture & also the colors on the trees are fabulous – and
all so clear! Well, now I have another destination to add to my
Paris list – Institut du Monde Arabe…merci!
The autumn colours were definitely a bonus. It was very cold up there and I couldn’t stay very long, but long enough to get a few shots 🙂
