London’s Traditional Pubs

If you fancy your pint with a touch of history, London is your city. With a selection of olde world pubs, some dating back over 500 years, your next pub crawl could clock you a few centuries.

Start at the The Lamb and Flag, the oldest in Covent Garden which was first licensed in 1623 and, or The Cittie of York which has been the site of a pub since the 15th century, or even the Olde Wine Shades, an old haunt of Charles Dickens.

With traditional pubs such as these, you can immerse yourself in history,  recount local legends and imagine what a cleansing ale tasted like in yesteryears. And keep an eye out for wandering ghosts. Cheers!
