Passe Navigo Découverte is a useful pass that allows unlimited zone travel on the Paris métro, bus, RER and Montmartre funiculaire from Monday through to Sunday.
Effective 1 July 2011, the €5 rechargeable card which is valid for 10 years can be topped up as follows:

1 to 5 | € 33.40 |

Zone 1 refers to central Paris. Zone 2 takes you to the péripherique and Zone 5 includes Charles de Gaulle airport. You can also purchase tickets between zones eg Zones 3 to 5.
A single métro ticket costs €1.70 while a carnet of 10 tickets costs €12.50. Prices are effective 1 July 2011.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that you can get a Passe Navigo “Découverte” now. Was the very first thing I did when I arrived in Paris this summer. Such a deal and since it was raining the whole month, I used mine A LOT!
I travel a lot on the metro (it’s a passion of mine) and this pass is the best, rain hail or shine! 🙂
