Le Parking: How to Park in Paris

Some people prefer to get around Paris on foot. After all, there is much to see and experience beside historical monuments and the sleepy Seine.

Others conveniently hop on and off the métro at will, basking in the arty interiors of some of the stations.

And for those who travel by car, they face the challenges of navigating heavy traffic, negotiating the insane rond-point around the Arc de Triomphe and ultimately finding street parking.

So it comes as no surprise that even in the city of love, cars can often have a domestic tiff.
