Located on O’Riordan Street, a few steps from the station, Freddie Green’s will be a neighbourhood focused Italian eatery in the heart of Green Square. The restaurant serves as a community hub with a casual ambiance appealing to a fun filled get together with family
& friends.

Earlier this year, Metcalfe completed a research tour of central Italy, so diners can expect to see Roman classics such as Potato Pizza, Squid Ink Lnguine, spanner crab, chilli, garlic, parsley and Chicken Cotoletta on the menu.

Freddie Green’s will be the third venue opened by JRM Hospitality within the last 12 months, following the launch of Saint George Dining, Chippendale & W&Co Coffee Shop & Catering in Pyrmont. It also marks the third venture in partnership with Veriu Hotels & Suites and +U Work Collective.

The venue is named after Frederick Green, Lord Mayor of Alexandria in the 1930s & 1940s who was instrumental to the development of the area, which resulted in Green Square being named in his honour. The space will also have private dining spaces and conference rooms for those looking for a corporate gathering.

Freddie Green’s will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week and will also offer room service to guests staying at Veriu Green Square. It’s slated to open early September.
