The thought of staying at a Chateau conjures up the prospect of luxury, beautifully appointed room, rolling hills in Europe… and hopping kangaroos. Château Élan at The Vintage is a taste of luxury in the Hunter Valley in NSW where you’re likely to find a mob of kangaroos near the grounds.
Château Élan
Manicured gardens, trimmed rosemary hedges lead to the grand entrance past the red carpet. Indeed, you’re likely to think you’ve stepped into a chateau in Europe rather than a luxury resort in rural NSW.
Spa Suite
Spa suites are located within the Destination Spa complex. and adjacent to those rooms, you’ll find are private villas with King Rooms and one bedroom suites that can be combined for families or groups of friends.
Lounge Area
The Spa Suite is generous in size with a lounge, table and desk. The king sized bed has massage controls to relax the body while the mind wanders. And it is called a Spa Suite for the obvious reason that the spa is the first thing you see when you enter the room.
Spa Bath
No matter how weary you may be, you can immediately relax in your room.
Wardrobe, mini bar and coffee/tea making
The wardrobe provides plenty of hanging space, an iron and a safe that is large enough to hold a full sized laptop. The mini bar includes a selection of wines from the Hunter Valley and there are coffee and tea making facilities.
Relax on the lounge while enjoying Hunter wines before dinner. The suite offers Wi-Fi (50MB at no cost per day), an i-pod docking station and the usual entertainment.
Shower and Toilet
You’ll find a separate shower and toilet behind frosted glass,
Appelles Apothecary & Lab Toiletries
and Apelles toiletries, an Australian company that utilises Australian certified organic essential oils and does not test on animals.
View from room to private terrace
After a day exploring the Hunter Valley, relax with a spa, before enjoying the regional culinary delights or retiring for the evening.
Private Terrace
On a sunny morning, there is nothing like enjoying the sunshine and fresh country air from your private terrace and you take in the view of the grounds and the golf course.
Château Élan offers a luxurious, rejuvenating and welcoming base from which to explore the Hunter Valley. The most difficult part is having to leave it behind.
