Taste of Coogee Food and Wine Festival is back for 2016 running over 2 days on Saturday 3 September and Sunday 4 September from 10am to 6pm each day. Held at Coogee Oval, the event will feature celebrity chefs Justin North (Hotel Centennial), Andy Allen (Three Blue Ducks and MasterChef winner 2012), Monte Koludrovic (Icebergs) and Mindy Woods (ex-MasterChef), to name a few. Bouche on Bridge & Cellar at Bouche
Bouche on Bridge, an 80 seat modern European restaurant is set to open in September with Chef Harry Stockdale-Powell (ex Easy Eight) at the helm. Sydney Tea Festival
The Sydney Tea Festival is coming to Carriageworks on Sunday, 21 August 2016. Pick up a porcelain tasting cup and spend the day exploring and tasting a range of specialty loose leaf teas, browse teaware, accessories and hand-crafted homewares from the tea market, and watch an interactive tea ceremony performance by artist Adam Wojcinski titled Matcha: One Host, One Guest, One Moment in a purpose built tea cube in the market place. 9.00am – 4.00pm; Carriageworks, 245 Wilson Street Eveleigh.

Stolen Smoked Rum
Stolen has introduced the world’s first smoked rum. While many rums tend to be sweet and vanilla driven, Stolen Smoked Rum has a smoky flavour profile with hints of coffee. The rum is produced in Trinidad & Tobago where column-distilled rum is aged in ex-whiskey barrels in the Caribbean, infused with refractionated Arabica coffee beans from Colombia, Vanilla from Madagascar, and Fenugreek from Morocco then smoked using American Hardwood. Enjoy it on ice topped with ginger beer.
Bolle Italia Italian Sparkling Wine Festival
Bolle Italia, Sydney’s first Italian Sparkling Wine Festival is coming to Bar Machiavelli in Sydney on the 9th and 10th of October this year. From 10:30am until 6pm on Sunday 9th October, you can taste over 100 unlimited sparkling Italian wines for $33, and from 7:30pm on Monday 10th October, Bar Machiavelli will play host to a six-course Bolle Italia Degustazione dinner for 140 people at $145pp, part of Good Food Month. www.bolleitalia.com.au

Australian Brewery has released their range of beer in new cans. You’ll find New World Pilsner, Australian Pale Ale, Saison D Heretique, All Star Session IPA and All Star Session IPA at independent stores.
