Winter Gin, Bass & Flinders

From Bass & Flinders Distillery in the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria comes a limited edition craft spirit, the Winter Gin.

Pale amber in colour, the spirit has fragrant floral aromas with wood notes, cassia bark and lacks the strong juniper hit of some gins. The palate starts smooth with notes of coriander and bergamot and progresses to Christmas spice with clove, cinnamon and pepper finishing on a spicy note with a long and warming finish.

Winter Gin is not your standard spirit for a G&T as the tonic competes with the spicy notes of the gin. It makes for delicious sipping neat, evoking memories of Christmas treats.
