Photo of the Week: Villa Melzi Gardens, Bellagio Lake Como

If you’re visiting Bellagio in Italy, take a leisurely stroll south of the ferry wharf or Navigazione Lago di Como, and you’ll find yourself amidst the gardens of Villa Melzi. Situated along the shores of Lake Como, i Giardini di Villa Melzi are perfectly manicured and include an intimate and serene Japanese garden. The villa is not open for visitors but the gardens would make any photographer lose track of time. There are benches on which to rest and the line of trees by the waterside make it an enchanting place to visit and appreciate the natural beauty of the lake.
