Travel Souvenirs from Around the World: Provence, France

Think of Provence and you conjure up images of golden sunshine, lavender fields, undulating hills with citrus and olive trees. So how do you bring the essence of Provence back home?

provence souvenirs

This collection of souvenirs arrived with family after their brief sojourn in the towns of Bonnieux and Gordes. The provençal bread basket tied with ribbon is a perfect accompaniment to my provençal tablecloth.

lavender tea

provence salt and peper

The lavender tea  or thé lavande is set to bring the aromas into wintry afternoons and who could resist the hugging salt and pepper shakers with an olive motif?

savon de provence

And with the Provence Aromes soap from Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue perfuming the air, all I need to do is close my eyes to smell Provence.

Other Travel Souvenirs from Around the World: Tokyo, Seoul, Jbeil, Big Island of Hawaii, Dubai, Tahiti, Montmartre/Paris.
